Plywood Chair

I made this outdoor plywood chair in about one hour using only a jigsaw, screwdriver and some screws. A simple woodworking project. (July 31, 2009)

I needed some chairs for an outdoor event and I decided to make some using plywood. Here are the pictures of the chair that I made:

The material needed to make this chair is just one piece of plywood, 5/8" thick 32 inches wide and 24 inches long and some 1 1/2" screws.

Piece of plywood Using the jigsaw, I did cut this 24" x 32" piece of plywood as the picture shows. No additional pieces of wood were needed to make the chair.

I was able to make 6 plywood chairs with a 4' x 8' 5/8" panel of plywood.
