Plywood Chair
I made this outdoor plywood chair in about one hour using only a jigsaw, screwdriver and some screws. A simple woodworking project. (July 31, 2009)
I needed some chairs for an outdoor event and I decided to make some using plywood. Here are the pictures of the chair that I made:
Using the jigsaw, I did cut this 24" x 32" piece of plywood as the picture shows. No additional pieces of wood were needed to make the chair.
Once it was assembled, you can see each piece of wood on the chair. The numbered pieces are added to provide strength to the chair. Regardless that using only screws makes this chair strong enough, adding some glue was a good idea.
I was able to make 6 plywood chairs with a 4' x 8' 5/8" panel of plywood.
